Decided on panel topics for coming New England Library Association conference, including suggesting the topic of Lexile numbers. 

 

Cream of the Crop Southern Maine Book Review Committee

September 2012-April 2013

 

Reviewed all the books recommended to the commitee and chose the final list of books we would endorse. Created a PowerPoint of the final list and a Prezi of the highlights to present to the conference panel attendees at the Maine Regional Library System and Maine Library Assosciation's Reading Roundup Conference in April, 2013. 

 

Southern Maine Library District Book Review Committee

Read and reviewed over 200 books over the course of three years, most of which were added to the library collection at no charge.

Painted a mural in a run-down park to improve the look of the park.

Designed and taught lessons on world religions and exploring personal spirituality for young teens. Led field trips to local churches to learn about other faiths.
